We refer to the above matter and our previous advisory herein. Kindly take note that after the announcement by the President on Monday, 23 March 2020, the following arrangements have been put in place at our offices.

  • Our offices will be shut from 13h00 on Thursday, 26 March 2020 and will re-open on Friday, 17 April 2020, alternatively, as soon as the President announces that the lockdown is over;
  • We have made infrastructure available to enable certain key personnel to, where possible, work from home. Note, however, that due to inter alia the Deeds Office, Courts and Sheriffs also being on lockdown we will not be able to attend to any registrations in the Deeds Office or institute new legal processes. This does not prevent us from capturing instructions and attending to administration, commercial drafting, drafting of pleadings, notices and opinions and we confirm that we will be fully remotely operational in this regard;
  • The following key personnel as per below downloadable PDF document will have access to their e-mails and will work from home within the parameters as set out herein above:
  • We confirm that we will use our best endeavours to ensure that the lockdown does not affect the professional services we render, however, note that the lockdown may affect turnaround times on matters. Be that as it may, we thank you for your continued support.
